for Workshops and Competitions
Choose your own level with our cookie types below as your guide.

Cookie Dough* (Getting to Level 1)
These dancers have a solid foundation in all 5 *basics in their primary role with a few variations. In their secondary role they have a beginning ability to dance all 5 *basics. They can dance all 5 basics solo in both roles. They may have little or no experience with switch or steal.

Sugar Cookies (Level 1 - Basic)
These dancers are already able to both follow and lead safely and comfortably in all 5 *basics.. They have some previous experience with switch: possibly with steal. They will need these abilities to keep up.

Chocolate Chip Cookies (Level 2 - Interm)
These dancers are already able to both follow and lead in all 5 *basics smoothly with a number of variations in each. They have some abilities with switch, and possibly with steal. They will need these abilities to keep up.

Snickerdoodles (Level 3 - Advanced)
These dancers are proficient in both lead and follow roles and have strong skills in switch and steal. They have been taking WCS lessons and workshops for a number of years and probably compete in both roles.​

No one will be excluded from being "Cookie Dough".
If they do not fully meet the level we ask them pair up with someone and
do not rotate.
If unable to keep up they can step out of the lesson and observe,

Our secondary role intensives will help with all 5 *basics.
​​​
*Left side pass, right side turn, sugar push, sugar tuck, and whip.
